Work Completed: 1970's Bathroom Makeover!
Each year we contemplated changing our 1970s bathroom, but the thought of having more stress and disruption in our lives turned us off the idea each time. It was only when our bathroom began to deteriorate and fall apart that we had no choice but to replace it. Gavin of ‘Sharp Builders’ immediately reassured us that he would do his utmost best to make the job as stress free as possible for us.
There was no hard selling within our first meeting with Gavin of Sharp Builders and we were free to make our choice without any pressure. We were very impressed by the customer comments on the website and the professional credentials given to us when Gavin submitted the quote for our new bathroom. He showed us a DVD of his past work which, in turn, took away our fears of employing a rogue builder.
Throughout the time Gavin and Adam were with us, they worked in a friendly and professional manner keeping the mess and noise to a minimum, taking into consideration of my illness/disability and my husbands shift work.
Gavin kept us updated with the work being done each day and were very helpful and supportive whenever we needed advice with bathroom fixtures and fittings etc.
There were times when we had to leave the house leaving Gavin and Adam to lock up. Because of their honesty, on no account were we worried or concerned about leaving them alone in the house while we were out.
Thanks to Gavin and Adam, we now have a fully functional up-to-date bathroom. Gavin is a multi-skilled individual and with him being a perfectionist, the completed work was done thoroughly and to a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending ‘Sharp Builders’ to others and we would call them back to carry out any further work to our home in future.

When I first meet Gavin he proved to us that he was the Tradesman we wanted for the job Just be for he was to start my partner past away and Gavin postponed the work till I felt it was ok to have the work started. He and his wife Klaire sent me a Sympathy card I don't think that you would get that from any other tradesman he is more like a friend.
I feld confident in leaving gavin in my home when I was not there he had a key to come and go as he pleased that is the trust that I have in recommending him to any one that needs work I will be asking Gavin to come and decorate my liveing room for me in the new year and as other jobs come up I will be calling him in.
Just one thing is that he likes a bacon sandwich with brown sauce and Tea to. Ha Ha.
But once a gain I cant recommend him more highly My bath room has changed so much that it is now a pleasure to use it.

Work Completed:Loft Conversion

Just to thank Gavin and the team for a wonderful job they completed on our loft conversion. The job was started and completed in the times that Gavin said and the workmanship was second to none.
The team were helpful and polite and very well mannered (which you do not see a lot these days).
All areas were left finished to a high standard and passed by our local council building officer with flying colours.
It was a pleasure to do business with your company Gavin and a real privilege to be asked to leave some customer comments for your web site.
We are now enjoying the extra space!

Work Completed: Single Story Extension
Thank you for your recent request to leave you some customer feedback Gavin which obviously I’m more than happy to do so for you.
I knew that I was going to be happy with Sharp Builders completing my extension from the start!
I telephoned Sharp Builders and my call was answered by a very helpful lady member of his team who asked me when it would be convenient for ‘ME’ to meet with Gavin to supply me with a written quotation.
Gavin came round and surveyed the work that I needed completing and within three days I had received my written Quotation (not like an estimate which can go up in price) as well as his quotation being very detailed he had included a copy of the company liability insurance cover and references to the professional organisations that Sharp Builders were registered with.
I had had three ‘so called builders’ visit to price the work I needed completing prior to being told about Gavin by a colleague.
The first of the ‘so called builders’ turned up late for the appointment and 'stank' who only gave me a verbal estimate! The second didn’t fill me full of confidence, I didn't think he knew entirely what he was doing, and only supplied me with an estimate and no insurance and the third was no better and after lots of talk never even bothered to supply me with anything at all.
Anyway enough moaning, getting back to the point…
Sharp Builders carried out my extension very professionally. All the work was completed in a satisfactory manner. To my surprise my garden was kept in a very tidy condition (not like a bomb had dropped) Gavin and his staff were very well mannered and I was pleased to leave my house in their hands. My extension was built without any problems and the Building Inspector personally told me that Sharp Builders were a company that knew what they were doing and paid attention to detail when completing a building contract.
That’s about it, 100% pleased and would highly recommend to anyone considering having building work completed.
